STOP RECITE IS BETTER (stop and take a breath)
Waqaf Tam is a perfect waqaf that is the discourse marker for each verse. This Waqaf is marked with a number for each sentence. In linguistic definition, Waqaf means to stop and Tam means complete or perfect.
- Waqaf Tam is also known as Waqaf Kamil or perfect stop.
- It is best for the readers to stop reading at each of these signs.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ [Al Fatihah 1]
